OUTER SPACE TREATY OF 1966 Thugs With Guns In Space

The Outer Space Treaty is part of the Nixon legacy of crime, dishonesty and idiot-thinking. Robert Zubrin says that the Outer Space Treaty is what ruined the APOLLO missions and crippled our advance with manned missions to the moon and Mars. In his book, Entering Space, Zubrin reveals actual letters and memos that were passed around the Nixon Administration to kill the space program. Thus anything this Treaty -- a Nixon spawn -- says or recommends should promptly be suspect or tossed out. Here are some of the principles it recommends at the UN site:"the exploration and use of outer space shall be carried out for the benefit and in the interests of all countries and shall be the province of all mankind;"
Right here, this principle is socialist if not oxymoronic. A "country" is a government, so a country is different from "mankind." Mankind is individual people, not governments. Governments are groups of people that have monopolized force so that one group can "justify" their stealing from another group. Their theft, renamed "taxation." is then "justified" by claiming that the proceeds of theft will "benefit" everyone's interests. Since the proceeds do not benefit everyone's interests, this claim is fraud. Thus governments are fraudulent entities supported by groups of people that condone the use of force in order to steal and plunder. Given this, the very first "principle" in the Outer Space Treaty is what one could expect from a bunch of statists, hell-bent on world government.
The next principle reads as follows: "outer space shall be free for exploration and use by all States;"
So what does this mean? Private individuals or corporations can't explore the rest of the UNIVERSE -- just governments? Anyone that would accept this is mental. The acquisition of assets and resources from the INFINITE UNIVERSE , i.e., Outer Space, should, and is, the reward any person, company (corporate, partnership or proprietorship) or state should have for risking and utilizing its energy to explore and develop. The ONLY way this principle goes haywire is when an individual or company THEN asks the state (i.e. the thugs with guns) to grant them some special privilege which then amounts to a monopoly. In other words: GOVERNMENTS ALWAYS CORRUPT INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE ENTERPRISE BY BRINGING FORCE OF ARMS TO THE NEGOTIATING TABLE.
The Human race, thus really has no business entering outer space until and unless it eradicates governments. Since outer space is infinite, the old paradigms of supply and demand as well as scarcity and bounty no longer apply. Since governments were instituted among Mankind to protect these old paradigms, government is no longer needed when the paradigm goes away.
More statist insanity: "outer space is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means;"
Outer Space -- the infinite universe -- is the property of any and all beings no matter how they arbitrarily "group" themselves. A government, like a corporation or a church or a gang, is nothing more than an arbitrary grouping of beings (people). Arbitrary groups cannot thus lay claim to infinite assets and resources. The entire concept is foolish and shows a smoke-stack mentality. The colonization of the universe will require new and better thinking.
"States shall not place nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction in orbit or on celestial bodies or station them in outer space in any other manner;"
I would modify this to read that any and all nuclear weapons on Earth must be destroyed before those entities owning them are permitted to enter space. The idea is this: weapons, and especially nuclear weapons, are symptoms of disease, more accurately, they are paroxysms of state insanity -- the mentality that is so intelligence-challenged it is incapable of engineering equitable solutions to problems without entering force into the equation. Why would humans thus want to adulterate the purity of the universe with mentalities such as this -- or with ANY organism that is, in any way, connected to such a diseased host? Letting governments -- or the statist mentality -- into outer space, is analogous to letting diseased Europeans into colonial America where they destroyed civilizations with as many as 150 million people (Indians, Inca and Maya).
"the Moon and other celestial bodies shall be used exclusively for peaceful purposes;"
This may be the only point in the Treaty that has any merit.
"astronauts shall be regarded as the envoys of mankind;"
This would be true whether or not it's in any Treaty or not.
"States shall be responsible for national space activities whether carried out by governmental or non-governmental entities;"
Huh?
"States shall be liable for damage caused by their space objects;"
States, and any other individuals or other entity should be responsible for their litter, shouldn't they?
"and States shall avoid harmful contamination of space and celestial bodies."
But what, corporations get to litter? Sounds like this entire Outer Space Treaty is designed to keep everyone, and everything, out of outer space other than the One World Government the oligarchs are attempting to build. Gee, what a surprise.
